PUERTO MADRYN patagonia
Puerto Madryn has a strategical location and it is recognized as the most important services centre along the Patagonian coast, as well as the gateway to Valdés Peninsula, site included by the UNESCO into the World Heritage List in 1999.
This city is also known as the National Capital of Diving and it is worldwide recognized by Nature lovers because of the wide variety of sea animals that inhabit its coast, specially the Southern Right Whale. From June to December, these mammals can frequently be observed from the coast and, sometimes during the nights, you can hear the groans, pops and belches that they make.
The area is dry. In summer, temperatures may reach 35º C, while in winter they get to 5º C.
