ROUTE 40
During the high season (November to April) you can enjoy the famous Route 40
from Calafate to Bariloche and vice versa.

SOUTH TO NORTH
The trip takes 2 days, travelling around 12/14 hours per day.

Day 1) Calafate/Chalten - Perito Moreno/Los Antiguos

Departures in odd numbered days from the bus terminal in Calafate at 8.00 hs
or from the bus terminal of El Chalten at 8.30 hs, arriving in Perito Moreno at
about 9 pm (Los Antiguos 10 pm).

*The bus terminal of Chalten applies a tax of $5 pesos payable before boarding at the bus service from Chalten to Calafate.

Day 2) Perito Moreno - Bariloche

Departures in even numbered days from Hotel Belgrano in Perito Moreno at
about 8 am arriving in Bariloche at about 9 pm.

NORTH TO SOUTH
The trip takes 3 days, travelling around 12/14 hours per day.

Day 1) Bariloche - Perito Moreno

Departures in odd numbered days from the Turacción office at Quaglia Street 262 - Via Firense Gallery. Local 13. The departures are at about 6.45 am, arriving in Perito Moreno at about 9 pm.

Day 2) Perito Moreno/Los Antiguos - Chalten

Departures in even numbered days from Hotel Belgrano at about 10 am, arriving
in El Chalten at about 9 pm.

Día 3) Chalten - Calafate. Daily buses

COMBINATIONS

Puerto Madryn - Perito Moreno
Departures in odd numbered days (dates to confirm) from our offices on 25 de Mayo street 125, Puerto Madryn. Visit to the petrified forest José Ormaechea, passing threw Rio Mayo and ending the trip arriving at the Belgrano Hotel in Perito Moreno locality around 8:30 pm.

Perito Moreno - Puerto Madryn
Departures in even numbered days (dates to confirm) around 6.30 am from the Belgrano Hotel, passing threw Rio Mayo. Visit to the petrified forest José Ormaechea to arriving at 25 de Mayo street in the center of Puerto Madryn around 8.30 pm.
